Using PDFForYou
PDFForYou is a free set of browser-based tools for working with PDFs and images. By using the site, you agree to use it for lawful purposes only — don't use it to process content you don't have the right to use, or in a way that tries to abuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the site.
No warranty on tool output
Every tool on this site is provided "as is," without any guarantee that its output is fit for a particular purpose. This matters most for the Passport Photo Maker: it's a best-effort sizing and cropping tool, not an official or government-endorsed service. Photo requirements (size, background, head position, lighting) can change, and vary by document type and country. Always double-check the photo you generate against the current official requirements of the passport office, PAN authority, Aadhaar center, or other body you're submitting it to before relying on it — we can't guarantee acceptance.
More generally, tools like Compress PDF, Merge PDF, and the others do what their descriptions say to the best of their ability, but you're responsible for checking the result (file integrity, page order, image quality, and so on) before relying on it for anything important.
No warranty on availability
PDFForYou is offered free of charge, with no uptime guarantee. The site, or any individual tool on it, may be unavailable, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice. We're not liable for any loss or inconvenience that results from the site being unavailable when you need it.
Your files, your responsibility
As explained on the How it works page, files you process with PDFForYou's tools are your eyes only — we never get a look, since everything happens locally in your browser. That also means we have no visibility into, and no responsibility for, the content of files you choose to process. You're responsible for having the right to use and modify any file you upload into a tool.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFForYou and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools — including a rejected document, a passport photo that doesn't meet official requirements, or a lost or corrupted file.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time as the site changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
