How to merge PDF files
Add the PDF files you want to combine, drag to reorder them if needed using the up/down buttons, then click "Merge & Download." The tool stitches every page from every file into a single PDF, in the order shown, and downloads it straight to your device.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No — merging happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript, which is what makes it safe: your PDFs stay with you and are never sent anywhere. See how it works for the technical details.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No artificial limit — it's bound only by your device's memory, so very large batches may be slower.
Can I reorder pages before merging?
You can reorder whole files using the up/down arrows next to each file. Page-level reordering within a single file is coming soon.
Will merging affect my PDFs' quality or formatting?
No — pages are copied directly from each source file into the merged PDF, not re-rendered as images, so text stays selectable/searchable and there's no loss of image quality or formatting.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly — remove the password from each protected file first (most PDF viewers have a "remove password" or "print to PDF" option once you've entered the password), then merge the unlocked files here.
Does this work on my phone?
Yes — it runs in any modern mobile browser the same way it does on desktop. Very large or numerous files may be slower on a phone's more limited memory, but there's no separate app or mobile version needed.
